2024 Live Election Results: Latest trends indicate that NDA, led by BJP, is nearing the 300-seat mark, showing readiness for a comeback in power. The opposition’s India Block has fiercely contested this time, gaining a lead on at least 227 seats.
Leading names at present include Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad and Rajiv Chandrasekhar in Tiruvananthapuram, ahead of Congress’s Shashi Tharoor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading in Varanasi, while Akhilesh Yadav is ahead in Kannauj. NDA is also performing well in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, playing a crucial role in surpassing BJP’s target of 400 seats in these states.
Maharashtra has become another state where the opposition has gained significant ground, especially after dividing the regional stalwarts Shiv Sena and NCP by BJP. Here, the opposition is ahead on 30 seats, while NDA lags behind with only 17 seats.
